Asheville Marathon

Overview

The Asheville Marathon is a marathon race held in Asheville, North Carolina, USA.

The course is a point-to-point race that begins in downtown Asheville, greenways, the French Broad River, parks, and finishes in the rejuvenated River Arts District at The Wedge at Foundation.

The majority of the course is downhill from downtown, running “flat” along the river on the greenway and through city parks.

The entire event is also mostly paved, with the exception of a few dirt sections within the French Broad River Park.

Asheville is a small town at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Surrounded by rich nature, you can enjoy the outdoors just a short walk away, and there are art spots and many breweries in the town.
